People here will hate on them, saying they are fused junk made in Mexico, blah, blah. If it fit great, and you like it, buy it.

Personally, I like Z line a lot. Nice slim fit, good fabrics, fashion forward. I like my Z pieces better than a lot of my Zegna. It's not as well made, but I like the cut, which matters.

That said, at retail, it's kind of a rip off (1200 for fused junk made in Mexico) but on sale, they are worth it. I know bloomingdales has 1/2 off now.

I recently bought a Z Zegna sports jacket in Off 5th. It is 80% wool and 20% angora. The construction is nothing special but it fits well and the fabric is amazing. At $120 it was no question for me. The only thing that bothers me is that there was no attempt at pattern matching with the pocket flaps. The back is nicely done.

That's funny. Mine is a 38.

It was marked $244 and all clearance is half off. They may have another style but I'm not sure about the size. They definitely don't have any more of this one.

I bought it at the Source Mall.

When did they switch Z Zegna production to Mexico. I've ran across a lot of the Mexican made stuff in thrifts and generally pass because it was so cheaply made to begin with, the wear on the garments is usually bad.

However, I've found myself quite a few Made in Italy Z Zegna items as well, including a very nice sportcoat. My Italian made Z-Zegna garments have held up very well and I'd say the quality is well above that of the Mexican-made Z line.
