Hey Guys,

Been a long time reader, first time poster. Here is my situation, I want to purchase my first MTM suit. Now i've been reading and I was wondering a few things:

1. There is a difference between a MTM suit with a local tailor who can do it themself and within a couple of weeks as opposed to someone who measures and sends it away. Does anyone know of a few places which provide the first service? And is there a huge difference?
2. What fabrics and other decisions are made for the custom suit?
3. Could you please give me some general advice on what I should be looking for and getting with it?

I am in Toronto, and was hoping that someone could help me out. Thanks in advance

Second question I forgot to ask. I have a couple of older suits, cheaper ones (Jones New York, and some other Bay brand) that I spend a couple hundred on. They need to be adjusted, is it worthwhile to do it? What would the avg. cost be to fix the jacket?

What specifically needs to be done?
