IOI is also in the finance community, indication of interest. I think a major difference being that we are not marsupialed. Well, most of the time are not.

BTW, I have not dated in awhile. When I was "in the game", it typically worked that myself and some friends went to a party/bar/club, picked out girls we liked, talked to them etc and sometimes got lucky and sometimes we didn't. We were most active in high school/early college. No one read a book, took a class or anything. When did all this "The Game" bullshit start?

I'm still stuck on the gay thing.

'If I wasn't gay you'd so be mine'?

What the hell? Gays don't talk like that to women at all. The conversation never turns sexual unless it's about the best ways to please a man.

I love that he recommends you do it in when you are surrounded by guys you don't know. "hey guys, party is over here. I am soooo gay, c'mon." This gets girls hot for you nowadays

inexperienced in closing, but not approaching, talking to and attracting the ladies. People need a start somewhere. You take what you want from the book.

Oh? And just how does one 'close'? Do you get a badge? A Certificate maybe? Anyway, it's simple: Get'em drunk, stay sober

This thread has started to deliver.

The answer is still market segmentation. And remember, you don't want to "enter" all markets.

Well, certainly low-value markets without a barrier to entry are to be avoided. Unless there are protectionist bubbles in effect.

When I go out I use these rules:

1.) Don't be the ugliest person in the room

2.) Don't be the drunkest person in the room

Failing 1 and/or 2 (which is not hard) tell your friends the place was filled with lesbians.

That's old school. No book required.

I think there was like 3 pages of these finance metaphors in a thread I read around here once...either that or they're all starting to blend together

What would be the right time to enter an emerging market?

Also, is it wrong to prefer to enter markets on the downswing?

My entry into ETFs this week was ill-timed and I am soft. Should I pull out or hang in there, hoping for an explosive rise?

Women changed so much in the last three years. It was bullshit or self-evident then, it probably still is now...
