Hi everyone,

A few months ago a few people on this forum gave me some advice about my morning coat/(pseudo)suit that I planned to wear at my wedding....well, here is the final product, as I got married on Saturday!

(hanky slipped..)

Congratulations! You look great. And so does the bride (despite the blurred face). For those of us not familiar with the original thread, do you mind recapping what (brands) you're wearing?

The coat and trousers were by a Finnish company I forget the name of (second hand, and un-altered), the waistcoat is by Hackett (also second hand...or vintage perhaps?), shoes are by Samuel Windsor....shoddy doesn't even begin to describe them but they were the only broken-in Oxfords I had to hand/feet. Tie is from Debenhams (idiosyncratic British department store, brought on sale), and shirt is an M&S special. Overall cost was fairly minimal really (one of my relatives thought that I had had commisioned it, so nice was the fit).

Wow amazingly you found a mate who is devoid of facial features just like yourself!

You know, I'm not really sure why the majority of people blur their faces from posted photos on this board....I have nothing specific to hide (apart from my ugly mug).

Congratulations. I would not have done the odd buff waistcoat with the grey morning suit but it looks fine, in fact. You were let down by your shoes! Still, you will be able to look back on the photos in years to come, with pride.
