Peal are usually made by Sargent or Alden, sometimes C&J.

I don't think the Aldens are branded Peal for the most part, but I could be wrong.

The box and shoe bags for the BF saddle shoes say both Peal and made in England. This rules Alden out, right?

The boots also say made in England, but I don't know about Peal. I have the boots on hold and will pick them up in a week.

The Alden shoes are very easy to identify. Alden does not make that many styles. The shoes marked as made in USA under the calf section, as well as the cordocan page are Alden.

In checking BB's website, the Aldens don't seem to be branded as Peal. Thanks for the correction.

FYI: Looks like someone returned a pair of 9.5 perf strap loafers. If anyone wants a pair they are listed back in the clearance section.

I returned a pair of size 12 chelseas (don't fit), but I returned them in-store, so I've no idea whether they'll reappear.
