In 2004, Ewan MacGregor and Charlie Boorman, did a motorcycle trip from London, heading east, across Russia, down through Alaska, to NYC. The BBC shot it all, and it was a very entertaining watch. Well, they're at it again, headed south, to Capetown. Just watched the first few episodes, and it seems to be equally as entertaining.

Anyone else seen these?

Watched a few of ther first series, will be downloading any new stuff. I sort of have the urge to wander the earth like Cain from Kung Fu, but with a motorcycle and sturdier footwear.

Loved Long Way Round. Long Way Down annoyed me...especially when Ewan McG's wife decides to tag along.

If you like the idea of hopping on the motorcycle and travelling across the world, check out the forums at advrider - there are tons of ride reports and advice there.

This is actually something I want to do eventually..

Just getting to those episodes. I find her to be annoying, in and of herself. She's very...French.
