The notch lapel tuxedo burns my eyes. I like the tuxedo on the 13th page. Also the tuxedo with a T shirt is pretty weird.

Hmm, advice to get your tux at JCP too?

I'm going with a peak lapel and sticking with the classic.

If you're going with Notch, you might as well just wear a plain black suit and be less shiny and conspicuous.

The Shawl might be okay in Hollywood, but nowhere else.

Question: 1 button or 2?

This shouldn't even be a question. There are two, and only two, acceptable configurations for single breasted tuxedo jackets or dinner jackets: One-button, non-vented, either shawl or peak. That's IT. Nothing else flies.

I too hate it sometimes when people are too uptight about "the rules" but this is one of those cases where the rules simply cannot be broken if you wish to be classically dressed.

I think shawl lapels, especially DB shawls, are awesome, Hollywood or not.

Isn't that the cue for Sator to produce fashion plates disproving that statement?

I want that bow tie. That black shirt tuxedo is also horrible.

I don't like those lapels; they have an odd shape. I'm just not a fan of peaked lapels on single-breasteds. I think a DB would look so much better...and you don't have to wear a vest or cummerbund!
