Buy more...they reduce the shipping if you buy £250 or more.

I got all three of the dotted knits, among other things.

Don't be shy...stock up.

Yes, I did.

I just hope that I don't run into Will...I don't want my pointy-ended one to lord it over his circumcized version.

i picked up a couple of knit ties, from a set of ties left for rubbish by someone who used to live in my building. One navy and fuschia checkerboard pattern of the pointy tip variety by Dell'Orio and One vintage black 2.5 inch thick "circ" tip Brooks Bros 100% Silk variety.

I also got a circ'ed bottom deep navy wool 2.5 thick with grey pinstripes about every 1.75 inches - from a store "Martini" I forget the maker.

All mint/ near mint condition. Off to the dry cleaners they go.

You mean Kilgour, don't you? I have the maroon dotted one - it's one of my favourites! Enjoy them.

Thank you.

I'm guessing that Drakes makes them for Kilgour...do you think otherwise? How many English makers of crunchy white knit ties with navy dots can there be?

Is this your way of saying that you are impressed neither with the 10% discount nor the £40 for shipping?

Thanks for the thread. I've got one of their brown ones with a mitred end - and I love it - although it does produce a mixed reaction around the office. I need some with dots

So who makes their shirts? Italian or perhaps R&S ... Anyone know? I know that for 185£ less tax one can probably "do" better, but its not often I see RTW shirts with covered placket. I also quite like their cuff links, blown Murano glass.

Could be; they're made in Italy, though, not the UK. Does Drakes have their knit ties made domestically or in Italy? I don't have any Drakes ties, so I'm not sure...
