how big is the fuel tank on the KZ400? Love the look, but whenever I see bikes like that I wonder if the riders are eternally refuelling...

Why does Honda tease us with the Transalp we'll never get here in the U.S.?

Thx the engine is made of a nickel alloy and stamped by Jerry Branch.

Had to put "the flying brick" into storage this week -- too freaking cold to ride anymore.

I second that - i would get in line to buy this bike. with all the success BMW has with its f650gs and f800gs - you think honda would throw their hat in the ring.

I still have my heart set on a Vstrom... Probably the dl650... as its seemingly an excellent bike at roughly 1/2 the cost of the bimmers. Not to mention the excellent aftermarket support. So far that appears to be the consensus "best bike for the money" in the adventure bike stable. But a US version transalp at around 10k would give me extreme pause, were i about to buy a bike.

I wish Suzuki would get their act together and at least attempt to meet demand on the ABS Strom though. They seem to suck at that end of things.

Does that say "cafe racer"? That's the most un-cafe-racer-ish over complicated bike I've ever seen. I think Benelli needs to lay off the.. espresso? Whatever.

Not. A cafe bike.

Insurance is cheap, parking is cheap, and I dont need to take it for 2-year inspections (which cost around $800 before repairs!)
