Anyone else like them?

I've never worn cords before, but yesterday I saw a pair in a Gap outlet for $10, so I thought I'd give them a try. They're surprisingly comfy, especially compared to the skinny jeans I've been wearing for a while.

I'm considering getting a pair of Rugby cords off ebay. Anyone know what the quality is like?

Yeah of course we like cords. Also: shirts.

yeah, but if they're too loose, they end looking really grungy or old mann-ish.

I got a great pair from BDG (Urban Outfitters House Brand). They fit identically to their jeans so I got a slim pain and I'm in love with them. Not the most magnificent brand but cords that fit me like slim (think 514's) for 50$ retail is a score in my book.

Did you know you can get Levi's 514 cords for less than that?

I may be the only one, but I tend dislike when they're cut like slim jeans, rather slim trousers.

I agree with you. To me, really slim stuff just doesn't seem suited to cold weather (for some reason).

Touche. They're hard to come by and my area and I remain prejudiced against e-shopping lol.

I had a pair of the bedford corduroys from Rugby and they were comfortable, but I didn't like the cut, so I returned them. Go try them on at a store if you can.

I don't like them "skinny" per se but I believe everything looks better on the slim side. I like to feel the fabric I'm wearing.

Plus I'm from Florida so winter is relative.

I picked up a pair of H&M regular fit cords in a dark grey about a week ago for $20. They definitely have a 514-like fit to me, but not skinny or really tight. They don't seem like they'll last a real long time, but who cares?

Mah bad. Wasn't aware of the retail price, but 514 cords pop up in my eBay search all the time for ~ $30.

Another decent option in that range is J Crew "Classic Fit" cords, during their (frequent) sales.
