RL doesn't make these suits themselves. They farm out their production to various makers. The more expensive suits get made by better makes. I think Corneliani makes the RL Blue Label or Polo stuff, Caruso makes the Black Label and Saint Andrews (and maybe others - Cantarelli?) make the Purple Label stuff.

If you go to this thread you can compare the label on the suit you're thinking of buying to the labels that other forum members have identified to determine who made that suit. I'd still get the measurements from the seller and compare them to a suit you own that fits you well.

If you find yourself forgetting to bid, sniping software would probably help. I know I've lost a couple of items myself because of just forgetting to bid in time.

Clearly a MTM item but the measurements look good for a 40L or 39L.

I've never seen the sleeve tags before, but from the interior tags, it looks like the jackets are "new old stock" from the days when RLPL was being made by Chester Barrie in England. This was a few years back, as far as I am aware, and the manufacturing was then transferred to Italy were the suits are now made primarily by StAndrews.
