What's the consensus on Ted Baker? Gilt had a sale yesterday that featured a lot of items I really liked the look of. Then again, Gilt's photos and models are always so attractive that they make everything look epic. I picked up these two long sleeve polos...

They look really slim and the fabrics look to be good quality... What do you think, is this a decent brand, and do they really make slim fitting items or am I going to be SOL with shirts designed for fatties?

I like both those items, good buys

couldnt tell you how they fit. I had one TB shirt years ago, and i'd say it's sized pretty typical (size S being made for a 38" chest)....it does fit slimmer than most mall brands, but not slim the way, for example, BoO fits

Yeah, Gilt only offered down to size "2", which they claimed fit a 36" chest. I'm wondering if like the A.P.C. of yore they also offered size 1s? In that case I may not fit these (I think my chest is 35" or so).

I also bought a long sleeve polo with the front pockets. I hope its slim fit like the model. I bought a size 2. I have a size 36 chest if i inhale. This is one of the more expensive clothes i bought at 48 dollars. I hope its good quality.

I briefly considered the trousers, but the charcoal flannel pair in size 30 went quickly

Will do, Jason. They seem to be very in line with your style! I'm really, really hoping they fit though...

Ted Baker is really hit or miss and the retail prices are somewhat ridiculous. A good portion of their clothing is made in India and surrounding countries.

Really not a fan of what I saw. The only thing i liked was the purple sweater, which would be less than the sale price for something similar at H&M or J. Crew or any similar chain.

Don't know much about their streetwear but their London Slim-fit shirts are a great fit for me but are quite costly.
