Well? I'm definitely sticking to a white (or possibly a very pale blue) shirt, but I'm lost in terms of tie colours. Any hints? Thanks

a nice knit would look good...maybe a pink or grey perhaps try that aqua/turqoise one you got a while back...although it might be too bright for that purple...

Grey flannel slacks
Navy blazer
Interesting pencil stripe shirt with maybe some navy or purple in it
and a navy knit tie

Your welcome

DL

Check out the sartorialist archives. He has a shot many months back of a v-neck sweater like yours that is put together beautifully with a db navy blazer

Ties - i'd say Navy (knit or small patterned), or a light yellow. Dark olive/forest green?
Shirts - Besides white - light blue, light yellow, pink, any white with colored stripes (pink and blue)

Personally I'd wear it casually, eg white shirt and blue jeans, or with a grey suit sans tie

I'd agree with this advice. Also, I'll add that I really like that cardigan. I'm a purple fan and now might look into getting one.

Second that!

Grey and green go very well with purple. Add in some brown accessories to boot.
