American Rifle, the story of the role that the American rifle has played in American history and how it has affected other industries. Quite interesting and well-written.

Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk. I saw the movie before, so I guess it won't have as big an impression on me.

A lot of differences from the movie.

I read like 100 pages of The Road last night. What a disturbing book. I had this sick feeling in my stomach for the entire time I was reading. It was surreal.

Reading some of the non-rhetoric Cicero at the moment. Good stuff. Tusculan Disputations is quite interesting.

I will probably have to read The Catcher in the Rye again sometime soon since I'm writing a Soci paper on it.

I read it for the first time this year and loved it. Earlier in the year I read Buddenbrooks and I'm not sure which one I think is better.

Reading a lot of stuff lately. Just finished 'Something Happened' by Joseph Heller, and yesterday started 'Infinite Jest' by David Foster Wallace. I read it something like 12 years ago, so this is a reread. I also just started Ecclesiastes this morning, and I'm also reading something called 'The Mystery of Marriage'.

I'll probably be reading IJ for the foreseeable future.
