I got this pair of Church's loafer. Being totally unfamiliar with Church's shoes, I would definitely benefit from any comments from you gentlemen

...... I hope they are in my size. But I am going to give them to one of my good friends. Want to make sure they are not of low quality or too old fashioned.

I have the same pair. They are ok, nothing spectacular. They are really light weight, even for bit loafers. But overall, not too bad.

Label says "exclusively made FOR Church's shoes"..? And is that a "Vero Cuoio" (sp?) label on the sole? Italian made Church's?

Yes, this is what I have been curious about. Anyone can share the story behind it?

A standard "Horse Bit" loafer made in Italy for Church..not really the greatest in
terms of manufacture and not what Church of England was noted for.(Sturdy Brogues in
calfskin with a more substantive sole and heel) Also looks like the heels may not be original.
Good luck

Not really, but just in case anyone wants it. Otherwise, I will give them to my friend. It's not that bad after all.

Church's have had a range of loafers made in Italy for many years. Even well before Prada took a majority share in them. These are such loafers. The stiching on the sole looks big which suggests they are made by the Blake method. - favoured in Italy.

I do not like the shoes personally, but such things are just that - personal taste.
