Montreal shops?

I suspect you will find Montreal uninspiring as far as shopping is concerned since everything available in Montreal can be found in the States for less. That said, you might want to check out L'Uomo on Peel. If it's any indication, it's the only place you'll find EG in the city and fwiw, I believe visiting celebs shop there. Aside from that, the upscale mens shop is Harry Rosen, downtown on Peel street (inside Cours Mont-Royal shopping centre) or in the Rockland shopping centre.

I believe Zegnamtl can offer great recommendations here, but I haven't seen him post recently. As far as shoe stores are concerned, I believe Tony shoes on Greene ave in Westmount has a certain claim to fame, yet I was unimpressed by the offerings the one time I went there years ago.

Don't overlook Simons, Ogilvie's and Holt Renfrew- I was pleasantly surprised by what they had to offer when visiting Montreal in August. I think Montreal offers much better shopping than Toronto or perhaps even Chicago.Originally Posted by mykel67
