Good value - ie good construction for a reasonable price, even at retail, but are often available at discount.

Apart from the Grayson tassel loafer, AE has been disappointing to me. I find their styles just a little bit "off". They take a classic style and tweak it a little bit so that it looks odd, IMO.
I just noticed that their website features some new classic styles (brogue, longwing brogue, etc.), so maybe they are finally improving.
