Hey guys,

I am looking at getting a pair of Edwin selvage 505 jeans. They are listed as 36 X 33 but I asked the place selling them and they said the measurements are closer to 38 x 34.5 which would be my perfect size. I have read a lot that selvage tends to shrink and I know i wouldnt wash them very often but once i do will they no longer fit me?

Also how are the quality of these jeans? Do you believe that they are worth the price?

thanks

I belive Edwin in general are sanforized, so not much shrinking at all.

Personally I hate the look of those, too narrow back pockets and the selvage pocket piping looks like ****. Otherwise, Edwin is quality denim for the price. I´ve worn Edwin nashville alot, and the denim is really nice.

Do you other guys agree on the pipping looking like ****? I didnt mind it because i thought it was pretty subtle. I had reservations about the buckle thing above the butt.

buckle back is a classic detail, so the jeans are clearly "vintage inspired", which makes me like the wacky back pockets even less.

If you like it, go for it. I don't think it looks terrible, but you're the one who's going to have to walk away with it with either confidence or reservation. which will it be?
