Nothing against Paul Newman, because I certainly think the man can act, has style, and is a genuinely nice guy.

That said, his stylishness is much helped by genetics: he was tall and lean, and good looks cetainly helped a lot. Put him in a jumpsuit and he would look better than a fat guy in a suit.

But point is, he didn't put himself through any such travesty.

Awesome set of timeless shots, thanks. # 11 is great, pure 70s with Woodward in London in 69, they really were dressed like that. But the fit on his coat is still perfect.

Ditto Lefty, thanks a lot for posting this.

Newman is by far and away my favorite movie star. There was something about his characters, that vibe of always remembering a terrific joke or story in the back of your mind, that I try to carry around in my head. To be half as cool as him would be an achievement.

Again, thanks. Great shots.

A lot of great shots, brings back a lot of memories.

Newman is one of the ultimate examples of timeless style. not just in the way he dressed and his look but also the way he carried himself.
