Hard to get much better than this IMO.

A nice Sauternes, three different artisnal cheeses, some bread I just baked, and some foie gras I just seared with a little freshly cracked pepper and sea salt.

I was moving fast for the picture. Nothing worse than cold foie.

You're so damn touchy.

I'd eat all your food before you could even pour a glass of wine.

Well you know, you put your stuff out there, and suddenly everyone's an expert and can do so much better. Of course, those are the folks that never toss their stuff up for us to see. So instead of trying to justify my stuff, that gives me pleasure, to some fora i-gent, it's just easier not to post it for a while sometimes. No Dark, far from it. Just why subject myself to trying to justify the stuff I find pleasure in, to the endless parade of stupid that lacks the balls to show us their stuff.

. I'm just some fat midwestern hick.

You just have said before you love pairing it with fig, so I saw everything but the fig and asked.

Maybe I was being touchy. You'll have to forgive me.

No idea what I'm getting. I don't really have time to go home and get something (stuff going on later tonight) so probably something relatively crappy.
