I don't often splurge on wine, but here are a couple of my purchases from the past year. Because I buy so little I concentrate on BC wines.

I have unopened 2004 and 2005 Le Grand Vin, 2005 Petales, and 2005 Oculus in my collection.

I have tasted the 2003 & 2005 Le Grand Vin and the 2005 Petales, enjoyed all of them.

I was finally able to purchase Junipero at my local store. I didn't expect to see it and was happy to finally acquire it.

I have not seen this vodka here in Yankeeland before but my first question would be where is the other 5% alcohol since it appears the Sweet Tea vodka is 35% while most "standard" vodkas are 40% alc. by volume?

Been into ryes recently:

The Michters 10 Rye is markedly better then the Michters Single Barrel Rye. I like the 10 year more then the Sazerac too, but the Sazerac seems to be more well liked on the interwebs.

As long as I don't get lectured on how poor my choices are, I will start posting here again. The highlights of today's purchases:

My whisky! A place here finally had some, so I bought them out. It should last me about six months.

And the wine purchase that made me the happiest:

They were doing a major tasting, so we were able to taste the Sauternes and the CdP.

Pio, nice acquisitions. I'm guessing that Wiser's stuff is good?

I find it pretty yummy. They also have an 18 y/o, but it was not there, or I would have bought that out too

The 85 Soutard is to add to the line up at a friend's dinner party this Saturday. Fingers crossed it's OK.

Nice. Some serious coin for the '85, I suppose. How was it?

I'd be happy about the Fladgate, too, but happiest about the Doisy! Have a few 750 '05s and a few halves also. ~ H
