Anybody have any experience with their products? I think the idea of this semi-bespoke service is very interesting. This is just beautiful:

Second only to Johnston and Murphy and Stacey Adams in terms of beautiful high end footwear. The rubber-soled Hugo Boss are particularly divine. The beauty of the machine stitching and elegance of the pointy-toed lasts are just, without words.

I'm one myself, too, and didn't think that was being hard on someone who hasn't bothered using the search function. The level of sarcasm was just about right.

I'm hoping to buy my first pair of SF approved shoes. I've got a budget of about $300. What brands should a young guy look for that are well made, stylish, and comfortable?

For that budget (and even lower) and SF approval, IMHO, Allen Edmonds ebay store or Ron Rider (Marteganis) Ebay store is the first way to go; plal.com is another option

Please don't bully me, but my Marlboro Classics hand made boots have been outstanding! So durable, stylish and comfortable. Had the goodyear welted sole replaced twice in 4 years of regular use and are still going strong as my favourite footwear.

Wandering round the Berluti London shop last week I found their shoes somewhat less gross than last year but looking at the website I realise they were just not showing the stupid stuff.
