I checked the "Vault" at the FB on Michigan Ave yesterday, and thought I'd report . . .

A few ugly Paraboot loafers in sizes under 12US (I think there was a 10.5 and a 9), and a few nice Borrelli shoes (I think 2x12's and a 9.5?), but the price on the Borrellis was $699.

A fair amount of Borrelli shirts if you take a 16.5 or larger ($150 to $200), and a smattering of Brioni and Borrelli tailored clothing. Discounts were certainly not as large as I would expect from FB.

Tie selection was mediocre at best.

It's the cute name they give to their higher-end merchandise (the stuff they get end of season from Mario's Seattle, Louis Boston, etc. and various one-offs).

Is all this stuff on the men's floor? I pass by once in a blue moon and rarely ever stumble on anything noteworthy. Most of the stuff seems to be from Kenneth Cole and the like.

Every FB I've ever been in has one. IIRC, the one on State Street in downtown Chicago has one in the men's section in back, on the right side of the section (when you're facing it) just past the suits.

But not all do. If anything they're the exception--mostly in the urban FBs and wealthy suburbs FBs.

I've not seen it in the Mich. Ave. store, either. I've stopped in a few times, but no longer do so.

Technically, this merchandise is from last calendar year. And that's best case scenario we're talking here

As I said in another thread, many of those Brioni pieces appear to have come from The John Gotti Collection

All-leaher tan captoes with original $500 price tags. When NM sells Brioni shoes for $1300 nowdays. So do you math from here.
As far as LB goes, I'm 90% certain they terminated their relationship with FB.
I know MR.SID did. Someting that was confirmed to me by their head buyer.
