Does anyone know when the new C&J 2008-2009 Catalogue is due? Fingers crossed some of the new lasts (358, 351) become available outside of the Paris stores.

The new catalogue has come out. - Get it from your usual source!

Here are the "˜Handgrade' styles available on lasts 251 and 258:

Fixed. Received my copy about 2 weeks ago. The 358 last looks ok; it's unfortunate that the Barnes is on the 351 which appears too pointy for my tastes. Nonetheless, look forward to someone posting actual pics of newly acquired shoes in either last.

Hi Bengal, this wouldn't be the catalogue Plal gets is it? Or is this one of the "other" C&J catalogues?

That is C&J's "Mail Order & Retail Catalogue 2008-2009". It is not a trade catalogue.
I presume, all retailers will get it, to distribute to customers.

Otherwise get in touch with C&J, Royal Exchange branch (from where they deal with mail orders).

So sad. Their new lasts are ugly, feminine and look like Italian hack.

What happened with a classic round toe?

Excellent.

Next question: Do you know what the Mortimer monk is? It's not in my C&J catalogue, but it's in a Ben Silver catalogue that came yesterday. It looks just like Malvern, except it is tan.

But then you will have to pay the highest price. Their prizes are even higher than those of other stores. Please scan the whole catalogue.

That's what they all say. I really like the tan Downing in the BS catalog, and am thinking Scafora could make a really nice version. But I'm just thinking, mind you. Not buying.
