Last night I did a nice relaxing 6.18 miles at 7:31 pace...I'm sure the 3 glasses of wine a few hours before helped make it relaxing!

5 miles. Like NYRanger, 2 glasses of scotch close it out well...

I ran 2 miles. It was a 0.5 mile loop that was ~100ft elevation change. So... basically, it was a hill workout. Plus I had to control a dog - who hasn't been taught how to run on a leesh... which meant there was a lot of correction going on while running.

... 6.3 miles, in 58:17. Not bad for an old dude. Feet hurt but, life is good!

So I decided to start doing some roadwork as part of my Muay Thai conditioning today. This is the first time I ran for distance in maybe 5 years.

I did 1.3 miles in 13 minutes. Not bad for my first time out IMO.

Except 1.3 miles is hardly "distance".

. Running is great; I can't find any other activity that trains the body and helps the brain relax at the same time. Keep it up.

Was planning on a 5K on the treadmill today, but all machines were taken when I got to the gym (by college chicks covered in sweat, so can't complain

), so I did 10 minutes on the Stairmaster, followed by 1 mile on treadmill. Then repeat.

I make a point of running less than 3 miles per day, although sometimes I boost that to less than 5.

Yeah, but it's a start. I just signed up to do a 5K charity run for Integrity House in exactly one month, so hopefully that will give me some motivation to get my distance up a little bit.

Did 6 miles worth of intervals today...jogged 2 miles of that, 80-90% pace for 2 miles, and walked two miles. (100, 100, 100 of each)
