Help me out here. Does it not look like your shoes are too big, given the gap between the back of your heel and the heel of the shoe (I edited the 3 easiest to spot examples from your post). You seem like you know what you're doing. Is that kind of gap normal?

I think one pair of my shoes might be a half size too big, but after seeing your photos I'm confused.

From the pic alone I might guess that they are a touch too big, but there can be a dozen variables to fit, as well as preference. Some of my shoes show a little gap, some don't. Also some people have heels shaped differently, the achilles might bow inwards more. In short, only the wearer can judge.
