I'll take a Portofino over a Panerai any day. I swear I see more Panarai's in NYC than Rolex.

Even that Port pictured above? That thing is ridiculously ugly.

Recieved today: 1958 Omega Seamaster along with silver and mother of pearl cufflinks circa 1915

This is my piece (well, an image of one the same as mine, as I don't have a camera handy).

I love this watch for its simplicity. It was made to commemorate the Battle of Britain and was limited to 1000 pcs.

This design specifically recalls the 1936 - 1944 Mark IX and was particularly meaningful to me as my Grandfather flew spitfires during the war.

Even though I absolutely dislike any bicolor stuff, I have to say that this specific one looks significantly nicer in real life.

Yea, not much by the thread's standards, but it's nice, plus the seller just serviced it. Not a bad deal for $22.

I mean this one. I like it.
