It's just one of those days in SF-land, I guess. Order placed. Here's hoping they ship them.

Days like today, SF seems like a magic realm. Thank you, J, for giving us this place.

Nope. Blue, Green and Red. Very deep colors, according to bengal stripe, double soles and (IIRC) a deep red lining. A special order run by Geiger, he speculated, that did not fare well in the market.

I saw these in person about six months ago at Liberty of London, I believe. They were quite interesting.

How did you do it? I got a payment error message, obviously I don't have a UK billing address.

I just put in my correct address and left country as UK. I just spoke to Amex, who confirmed that the charge had been approved.

Yes. Holdfast was kind enough to provide proxy for UK shipping address.

In a good way or a bad way? I ordered the wine because I figured that in the end, a dark red shoe is pretty normal (pace Signor Antongiavanni), whereas with blue or green, it's harder to tell how they'll do in person.

For the billing. For the shipping, I used a UK-based helper.
