Hmm, does anybody know if I should apply little felt pads to the bottoms of the Eames LCW legs? I don't want the chairs to get all scratched up down there, but worry that the adhesive will damage them.

Oh hai.

Both of you should know that a lawyer's principle function is to worry. We are professional neurotics paid to think of every posssible thing that can go wrong and to prepare contingencies for them.

I'm not a particularly good lawyer.

Yes, and as a lawyer, do you recommend for or against felt pads?

Hmm. Then, what would you recommend as a snark-spewing cat-loving people-hater?

I'm not sure I did actually. I went to one of those despised "degree mills".

My advice it to put the felt pads on and stop worrying about it.

Do I really hate people? I seem to be getting a lot of bad press recently (see my sig.).

Well, with over 600 students per class, Harvard is arguably the biggest 'degree mill' of them all--so there's nothing necessarily wrong with that!

Put the pads on. The adhesive won't be any worse for the legs than the floor, and the floor will thank you.
