I have a size 8 US beeswax desert boot that I might sell. The color and texture is awesome but I'm a size 7-7.5 and these fit loose. They would work for someone in 8-9. It's been worn outside a few times and the sole gets super dirty fast but it's expected from Clarks.

May sound like a silly question. But is it best to wear socks with clarks desert boots or Clarks treks and wallabees?

To go barefoot seems more earthy and right sounding. But im not too sure?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of both?

foot stink, dude. i also imagine that wearing no socks will result in your feet turning brown from the leather if you sweat a bunch.

I see. I will always wear socks then. At least with socks on it is the socks that will end up smelling rather than the inside of your boots. Because i hate the idea of the insides of your shoes smelling.

I go sockless and just use shoe trees after every wear.

Tried on a pair of clarks desert boots today , I was tempted into it since I seen them alot of these forums. They fit great, I normally wear a 11 but the 10.5 worked great. I'm going to pick up a pair soon, anywhere I can find them cheaper than 90.00 over the internet thats legit?

It's not a fashion choice, it just feels more comfortable for me to wear the boots without socks.

They're $14 in stores now. I called a store in Kansas City, MO (I live in Jersey City, NJ) and had them ship them to me for $22ppd.

I love deals.

Just did the same thing. Got a size 10 in beeswax.

EDIT: how's the sizing on the BR version? The same as the Clark's version I hope?

just tried on the clarks wallabee in suede. I like and tempted to buy even though i got enough shoes.

BTW, do people here prefer the clarks Wallabee or the desert trek out of interest?

I've had many Wallies, treks and db's for the past 12 years and I love them all, but wallies will be my go to year after year..
