To be honest man, we could not sell those to save our lives at the store I worked at before.

People showed interest, but once they saw the other options (KMW, APC, R&B, W+H etc etc) they never went with them. I find that unless the person is a hardcore denimhead, jeanshop will always lose out to other similar brands.

I've got a pair of the Jean Shop Rockers and I really enjoy them. Quality wise, I'd say Jean Shop is among one of the better American manufacturers, better than Corpus but not quite on par with KMW, 5EP, and Rag & Bone however. Nonetheless, I still enjoy the Riri zipper, the orange stiching and selvage, and the leather patch. Not to mention a great fit.

If anyone's in San Francisco, Rolo stocks them. I've come across the jeans several times in-store, but haven't taken a closer look than to check for the selvage line. I do vaguely remember them being rather nice considering they caught my eye to even approach them.

Since this thread is devoid of pictures, here's a shot of my Jean Shop Rockers that I posted before in the WAYWT thread:

I was in their Soho store on Monday, everything was excellent and I could have spent a grip of cash, but can't right now. The leather shirts were excellent as were most of the belts. Prices are reasonable considering the workmanship and effort going into each piece.

The products are solid. I used to think that they were overpriced a couple of years ago, but they have kept their pricing flat, while other brands are going up. The jeans are nice. The denim is not as complex as say, 5EP denim, but the real difficulty with them, imo, is the very bright orange stitching, which gives them a distinct "rustic" character, but makes them more difficult to pair with other pieces. The real standouts are the leather goods. I will post my belt soon. At $150 or so, it was pricey, but the color and finish is really tremendous. Their bags and wallets are similarly up to snuff. My birthday is coming up, and I would not mind getting one of their messengers as a present. No, not at all.

I had a pair for a while and I regret selling them. At the time they were to big of a cut for me but they were great jeans and constructed really well. I would recommend Japanese stuff over Jean Shop but if you can get to their store and get a custom pair made that is where Jean Shop rises above the rest.

Bump. Just picked up a pair from Mauro and I love them. Mike (late of denim bar) recommended them to me, and I ended up choosing them over KMW.

I got the skinny fit and its perfect. Slim and straight with enough of a taper to get decent stacking but not to the point where it makes my size 13 sneakers look like clown shoes. They have a really clean aesthetic on the outside but cool orange detailing including orange selvage on the inside.

they run about 2" larger than size, I'd say get your APC size in these, if you wear APC New Standard
