Another option if you have a Kinokuniya store in your city (check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinokuniya) is to get the magazines there. Watch out though, the store has a way of taking control of your mind, leaving you in a trance until you find yourself outside the store, with a giant stack of books and a lighter wallet.

Just curious, PSG, if you went to pick up your big shipment of JPN Appreciation in a Honda Scrum?

Yep... it's a real car here... saw one just the other day. It is probably a very well made vehicle, but just for the sleazy sounding name, I don't think I could do it.

Anyway, great magazines all around. If you have ANY connections in Japan, they can pick up older issues of these for 105 yen, or 99 cents, a pop at the local Book Off (of which there is one in EVERY japanese town). Of course, shipping would still be high, but still you'd be saving a lot.

I'd pick some up for forumites... but I'm actually now back in transit heading for the USA...

I read these 2; I find that having Asian models helps me visual what I'd look like in that colour/pattern so I don't buy the other mags but they're still interesting to look at.

I need to plac e reorder for more Japanese Porno. Is there anything else I should try besides Men's Ex or Leon. If so, why do you like them? I would appreciate any suggestions.

I just ordered Free & Easy, Men's Ex and Leon from the Kinokuniya store in SF. It was only $7.30 for Men's Ex, $11.65 for Leon and $ 12.95 for Free and Easy plus $7 to ship it too me. That order would have been closer to $90 shipped from Amazon Japan because of shipping fees. OK, I'm hooked now!

****....magazines arrived pronto but "Men's Egg" was sent instead of Men's Ex". WTF??? Have you ever seen Men's Egg? Tons of pics of young skinny dudes with redish streaks in their hair cut in really long layers, wearing graphic t's, furry collared jackets (often puffy) and torn jeans. I would post pics but you would puke.

The sister publication is Egg; it is for the ganguro/gal lifestyle.

Men's Egg magazine makes the following suggestions for a very romantic Christmas date with that special someone... that you probably met in a club in Shibuya last week: A Night Cruise on Tokyo Bay (******* expensive) Helicopter Ride over the city (******* expensive) A Limo Party (still pretty ******* expensive) Romantic Dinner in artificial landfill city of Odaiba (couple in picture seen eating French fries and Coke) Visit a Christmas illumination display (free, if you can stand the crowds) S&M at the Hotel Art in Shibuya (hey, it is Christmas after all…)

They don't seem to have many magazines anymore and you have to deal with local babaa....

Yeah, I just read that they've become decidedly more "americanized" in the last five years...

Oh well - there's always Kinokuniya!

I like Men's Knuckle better than Mens Egg. Always has sex tips in the back, complete with topless AV Idol giving the hints (or is it getting the tips?)

I may end up in the spring issue of Brutus magazine. The editor aproached me in Shibuya when I was talking to some friends in front of the station. He gave me his card and explained that he would want me to model suits for a future issue (probably spring time). He then took a few photos of me and my info. That would make for one hell of a WAYWN post.
