From the gorge and button stance, I would agree. However, for a basic business suit in a timeless style from an excellent maker, it could be quite the steal at the right price.

Yeah, I'm debating. The button stance does not appear as droopy as many other models I've seen.

For those who have a hard time finding smaller sizes, like me, try this ebay store. Prices are somewhat high, but good selection and a decent number of 36r and 38r items: Napoli Outlet Store. I did pick up a Kiton tie from them. Transaction went well enough.

Is that a camera artifact of some kind, or something on the actual jacket itself?

It looks nice, but I know that Etro tend to run small and thus I would never fit into it...

It looks like sunlight, but I would be leary-- the sellers feedback is not great.

Very hard to tell with these pictures.

Does the coat have a single vent or no vents? I doubt it's new enough to have dual vents.

Are the pants FF or pleated. If they are FF, it's probably from an older iteration like the late 1980s or early 1990s. Again, I doubt that it is a recent model if it has FF pants since they are probably pre-pleat FFs.

Finally, see if you can get a picture of the inner pocket workshop tag. I believe they changed to the larger workshop tag like this:

in 1997-1998. Previously the inner pocket had the little 1 & 1/2 X 3" tag in the old style like this:

If you can get a picture of that inner label you can tell if the suit is newer or older than 1997.

But remember Oxxford is pretty much timeless. My guess is that this suit is from 1987-1991. But if you like it, and the price is right go for it. On Ebay, Oxxford is one of the best values there is. You are paying for the suit quality and not the brand name.

Yep--I just quickly browsed their feedback. Looks like they've sold the same jacket before (returned?), and the buyer left a negative saying to effect that there was damage to the jacket that wasn't revealed in the listing.
