I say bring back the jet packs, space laser fights, and crocodile submarines.

Wow - that looks like its going to be great! Can't wait till it comes out in November.

And I agree with the comment about License to Kill - I think this is the way Timothy Dalton wanted to play the character, but the world wasn't ready for serious Bond at that time. Now we are!

Does anyone know what kind of collar Bond is wearing at 0:25? It doesn't look like it's a BD, but the collars stay nice and perky for some reason.

Yes, you are correct. The first Dalton Bond film is great but then it went really hardcore and was a bit too heavy in the second. Dalton lacked something that I can't quite put my finger on. He never seemed to be having any fun whatsoever. At least with Craig he seems to enjoy himself occassionally. Also Craig is probably the first Bond since Connery that is believeable as far as being able to kick ass which helps the gritty realism they are going for. Bond beats Bourne for me as he gets to enjoy the finer things in life whereas Bourne seems like a Prozac, psych ward mental case.

Also the idea Bourne is traveling around everywhere dressed normal with his face shown is utterly ridiculous.

I liked Timothy Dalton. The Living Daylights is probably my second favorite Bond movie.

I dont' know about that. I know he gets a lot of crap for his looks, but he's a good looking guy, from my non-gay perspective. He's not a model (at least I don't think he is), so don't expect model looks.

As much as this makes me interested in Bond for the first time ever, I can't help but find this very strange.

I see it as more of a return to a true Ian Fleming Bond.

Craig sure doesn't look like Hoagy Carmichael.

I have to say (again) that Craig was a great choice for Bond. That trailer was awesome and I can't wait to see this movie. Even the name has grown on me.
