Attolini? Maybe.

Rubinacci and Vass? Not on your life. Iammatt, Mafoofan and all other forum members will solidly back me up on this, especially when it comes to Rubinacci.

Burberry... I think their raincoats are still good but I bought a suit recently and it's terrible. It is headed for the thrift store. I really made a mistake by trusting the name instead of really looking at the suit before pulling the trigger.

Banana Republic and JCrew are the two that annoy me the most looking at the quality

rice ratio. Both used to carry nice clothes at decent prices. I bought more pairs of casual/semi-dress pants at JCrew than I can count--now they're so expensive I just walk away.

I like BB's regular store stuff. And even their outlet store stuff isn't all bad.

I'm also just generally annoyed at the idea of producing a different line for the outlet store. Whatever happened to these stores just having the overstocks and out of season stuff? That annoys me about BB.

I don't think this problem is brand specific. I think it covers manufacturing in general though it is more apparent in some brands versus others. I think it stems from the more for less attitude that's prevalent in the consumer mindset these days. Everyone wants cheap quality which is obviously an oxymoron. Another thing that might be going on in the consumer's mind is hey why is this so ridiculously expensive versus this obviously better quality item question. Oh it's a so and so that's why. Well that aint working so well these days which in my opinion is about time.
