articulate this, articulate that. That's one word even your neighborhood marsupial knows, and uses constantly to look smart.

And usually used by white people to describe nice black men. He's very articulate, isn't he?

The future progressive tense is way overused.

I've noticed this, too.

I usually don't mind too much when words take on different meanings, it's just the way the English language works; but "literally" is a unique word that has few synonyms. It needs to be preserved.

My god, yes. Or using it to describe something mundane that happened - like "he literally picked that heavy desk up."

Though I wouldn't consider myself a grammar nazi, I hate when people mix up good and well.

FWIW, my gf hates the word panties.

I don't have a problem with puss and discharge individually, but when they come together - it's bad news.

Not to be a jerk about, but do you mean "pus"?

Words I especially dislike:

Reach out to--as in contact or direct
incentivize
mission, especially in the phrase "mission statement"

diverse
rich (as in richly diverse)
provenance is a good one, it sounds way too pretentious
partner when used to refer to a husband or wife, etc.
