The future progressive tense is way overused.

I usually don't mind too much when words take on different meanings, it's just the way the English language works; but "literally" is a unique word that has few synonyms. It needs to be preserved.
My god, yes. Or using it to describe something mundane that happened - like "he literally picked that heavy desk up."
