I'll post these again because they're among my favorites these days. I seem to be buying prints over wovens by a ratio of 10 to 1 lately and 50 oz silk is simply awesome!

Interesting that you bought two of the identically patterned tie in different colors. I generally discourage that simply for the sake of variety. Nice ties though.

Thanks. I hadn't thought of it that way though. In fact, I like the silk and pattern so much that I regret not buying the brown version too. (I didn't buy them at the same time though). I would think that if the colors are different, even identical patterns will provide more variety than ties in the same colors but in a different pattern i.e. I have lots of other ties that look a lot more like the blue one than the red one does.

True, but if you suddenly tire of the pattern then you lose three ties and not one. Kinda rare to tire of a basic color.
