Do you like to eat anything strange/unusual?

Live squid/shrimp.
Cow intestines.
Dog meat.

It's strange that I like it but I like... airline food.. Anything to break up the hours and keep my sanity on a 12 hour flight.

Even the US economy class fare, although the business class meals on JAL are quite nice.

I love processed meat. I can't think of a processed meat product that I have tried and disliked, although I haven't tried potted meat product.

My girlfriend in Filipina. While she grew up in Hawaii and doesn't eat it, her parents do. I'm staying far the hell away from that one even though I've eaten some meat dish that they make with pig's blood.

When I was in highschool, there was this Taiwanese guy in my class who was on some sort of exchange program that told me that they took baby mice and fed them sugar (or honey??) for a few days and then ate them. To this day, I don't know if he was bullshitting me but

Sounds like the eating of Ortolan. "First, it is caught with a net in the forest. Taken alive, its eyes are poked out and the bird is put in a small cage. It's then force-fed oats, millet and figs until it has swollen to four times its normal size. Then the bird is drowned alive in fine cognac. Then, it's roasted whole, in an oven at high heat, for six to eight minutes. Once it reaches the table, a napkin is placed over the eater's head. The technique of eating the ortolan is to put the whole bird into the mouth, with only the beak protruding. Here sadism mingles with masochism. The first taste as you crunch on the bird is the brandied flesh and fat. Funny how the Poles and Mexicans have different versions of the same foods.

Kiszka- Don't ask but it has a LOT of iron.

Probably strange to some western people, but not so strange depending on where you are from...

there are probably many more to come, but I can`t even remember what is gross because I just eat the stuff on a regular basis

You, my friend, are missing out. But make sure you get Armour brand. There is some nasty potted meat food product out there.

How does one prepare potted meat product? Do you fry it in a pan, heat the can over a flame, eat it straight from the can?

These are not strange at all. The whale is just difficult to come by.

Street food in southeast asia is pretty weird to westerners. Chicken feet and intestine grilled on a stick, balut (fertilized duck fetus), etc.

We also like pig ear/face minced and sizzling on a hot plate. Goes good with beer.

You eat it the same way you eat rillettes - with crusty bread, cornichons, and some dijon mustard.

Or you can eat it like Carl ate it - with some of them thar soda crackers, mmhhh.

The strangest thing I've eaten is jelly fish. I had fish eyes when I was a kid, and cow tongue.

I love to eat smoked oysters drenched with Louisiana Hot Sauce. This is not complete without Chicken in a Biskit crackers.
