I've never had a knit tie so nice a knot, and it seems to go nicely with a lot of my wardrobe, so needless to say it gets quite a lot of wear.

JD, that tie looks amazing, I love it. What kind of fabric is it made of?

I probably wear my dark navy blocks with thin navy & white stripes the most but my favorite design is probably the raspberry swirls as it was inspired by a Kandinksky print I have.

I remember reading 10+ years ago an article by a traveling journalist who wrote at length about his favorite tie. It was a black, silk knit tie. His feeling was that it worked with everything and looked great even after being tossed into a duffel bag. He mentioned going through Middle Eastern border crossings wearing it with a khaki shirt to look more respectable and to avoid closer scrutiny.
