^From the knee down looks sloppy, but that might be owing to the stiffness of the denim. They'll fall more naturally after softening up a bit.

I really like the fit. I agree that it looks like it might be a little too much stacking, but I suggest letting the stacks settle and soften up a bit before you decide to hem.

Agreed. Def too much denim below the knee, but wait a little to be sure on how much you want to take off. Otherwise, they look great.

Look good, agree with length/stacking. Rescues are selvedge, right? I heartily recommend some cuffing!

thanks for all the great feedback! I think I'm going to let them settle a bit (this was the 2nd wearing) then see how they look. I don't normally cuff pants because my legs are kind of short for my height (6' with a 32" inseam), but I might try it anyway...

Not the greatest pic, but you can tell that'll be an excellent fit once they soften and you have them cuffed or hemmed. Make sure to leave enough stacking when you do.

HERESY ALERT: Soften em with a warm or cold wash and a tumble dry, or else they look mad stoopz for the first few weeks. The effect on fading will be negligible.

Edit: way late on this, but whatever.

Sam, I'm so happy you washed them. You were really starting to stink up the shop. You should post pics of your daughter Isla's Samurai. Those are the real deal.

For APCs it isn't the fading that is the issue with your advice, it's losing that sheen.
