gotta go to Seoul from Prague. It will be in the middle of summer, with about 4 days to play with between Czech Republic and Korea. The flights I've checked out between Prague and Seoul are ridiculous. LA to Seoul (return) is like 3k for business class, and very cheap on economy. From Prague, with less flight time, it is 9k. Do I have to go all the way to Zurich or even Heathrow to fly to Seoul? I'd prefer to stay in eastern europe in that time, explore Bratislava or maybe go visit a friend in Montenegro.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

I'd hazard a guess that via Frankfurt or Munich would be your best bet. At the very least you will have Lufthansa and Korean offering direct service from there.

I think Czech Airlines has flights from München and Wien to Prague.

Check their website.

I think Turkish airlines have code or facility sharing with the Korean airlines. Istanbul is a fantastic stop.

See if Turkish either flies to Prague or to somewhere a shortish train ride from Prague.

yeah, istambul has a great business lounge, but I don't like their long haul business class very much

I once took a 5 day stop there. Another time it was about 10 hours. As I was very awake, took a ride into downtown Istanbul. Had great donner kebabs, amazing baklava (think at the Misri Carsisi). Walked around, got a hammam and got back to the airport.

I have a day like that this week - 2 hour meeting, hamam, lunch, back to airport.
