SF Tramezza Hierarchy

There's been a lot of talk on the Forum lately about the SF Tramezza line, and how it stacks up against other top-of-the-line shoemakers. I'm curious myself how those of you who have tried on or own Tramezzas would comment on the following models in terms of construction and quality, as it does appear that there may be some variability across the line:

Torrent
Sguardo
Tibury
Reale

Feel to share your experience with other SF Tramezza models as well.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

To be honest the workmanship doesn't seem to vary across the line. It's becomes a matter of design taste. The styles range from classic to fashion forward, but the quality I've never found lacking.

These are mine, http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/7149/dscf1612uh2.jpg I'm not 100% sure what model they are. The member who sold them thought Mabal, but wasn't positive. in any case, my experience has been great. They're not quite C&J in terms of comfort but they look amazing and the colour ranks among my favourite shoes. They look damn good, too...

i believe the model you own is called the Fiorenzo, a Forum favorite. I'm surprised they "retired" the shoe given its popularity. i love the broguing on the toe.

No, the Fiorenzo is a blucher, whereas the shoe linked is a balmoral. I don't know the correct name for the model shown.

I think they come out with new sytles every year. I was @ the Ferragamo store last week just browsing (actually looking for formal shoes), and saw some nice Tramazzas that I don't recall ever seeing in the outlet or Ebay before.

I think every tramazza model is made to same standard. I own 2 (a cap toe and a light brown suede wingtip), and happy with both so far.

I have the black Fiorenzo and it's been replaced by the Rairo which seems to only be sold by Nordstrom's. According to Nordstrom's, Tramezza models only get new models every 4-5 years to replace the old ones. Could the one in the picture be the Torrent which was the same one used in the Ostrich skin style?

Tramezzas are all SAME construction, that is, top of the line for Ferragamo.

Styles are different. There is no "Tramezza hierarchy"

I would argue this on one point. I have had Tramezzas with a beveled waist. The majority of the line does not.
