What do we think of Iron Man's suits?

Not the bulletproof ones, the regular ones.

They're pretty cool to my eye - nice looking fabric, trim silhouette with slim sleeves and he even shows cuff.

Shoulders lift a little too much when he does his arm-raising shtick though, but not too badly at all.

Anyone know who made them? Zegna? Armani?

HD trailer, so you can see some of the details

(the movie looks awesome, by the way

It's not just the suits, it's the attitude and the guy. I can't think of anyone better suited (no pun) for this role.

hmmmm, after looking at that website, I have the feeling that no one, I mean no one that is a regular in these parts would ever give that outfit business.
Seems to rely very heavily on star power and not knowledge or quality.
Perhaps I am wrong, some of the shoes look ok, but I bet the prices have star power as well.

Are your sure? I mean, look at this:

"Meet David. Bestower of confidence and power. He is a man obsessed with sleeve length, fit, drape and lapel style, who can turn any man's wardrobe in to a magnificent tool for which to conquer life in the limelight, the boardroom, behind the scenes and the paths of life. And he does it with flair."

Confidence, power, AND flair?!?!?!

I thought Bridges (Obi in the movie) had the most interesting wardrobe, not something I'd ever wear but they fit his build, style and character perfectly.

While watching the movie I leaned over to my brother to say, "I really like that leather jacket he's wearing." It was the black motorcycle jacket in what looked like lambskin. Then I looked closer: double snap on the neck, verticle zipper on the left breast, assymetrical zipper up the front, black zippers. It turns out I already owned it, and was actually wearing it that night. It's from Ralph Lauren Black Label. I love the thing, it's become my favourite jacket in the last few weeks.

I don't think its designed for us. It's really for people who have a lot of money, but not a lot of time for shopping or for someone who just wants to create an image or personal style all at once. I do like the idea that they provide a book of all the clothes with information on what goes together. It's sort of like a personal shopper on steroids and I could totally see taking some new Hollywood celebrity to get a wardrobe at this place.

This is pretty funny. How did your brother respond? It's cool that you have the jacket, but I know I would have been like, "Dude, watch the cool armored, flying suit, not the motorcycle jacket!"

Saw the film today - best superhero film in a long, long, time. Downey and Bridges were both dressed nearly impeccably.
