I don`t know too much about Indian food, but I will not return a place that does not make good biryani.

I could eat it daily.

Naan, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, raita, veg biryani, mango lassi and kheer.

I love indian food, but I hardly eat it in the states.

I love biryani, although I prefer mutton over chicken. hyderabadi food (where biryani comes from) is my favortie type of indian food.

I am currently experiencing severe Indian-food withdrawal. The nearest Indian restaurant is about 40 miles away, and even the ones I've tried when in Nashville (75 miles away) have been relatively disappointing.

Anyone here cooks their own indian food? Any indian cookbooks you can recommend besides Madhur Jaffrey's, which I already own?

My favorite dish is Sarson Ka Saag, a mustard leaf dish, extra extra extra spicy. Huzzah!
