Zippers on All Saints jackets

Hey, there! I'm a female, but this question relates to men's All Saints jackets as well. I bought the Caldonian jacket: http://www.us.allsaints.com/women/le.../grey/wlj039-7 There is a men's version as well: http://www.us.allsaints.com/men/leat...black/mlj516-5 Here is my question. The jacket has two "insertion zippers" (the part of the zipper you insert into the one with the slider). The jacket is tight on me (bought the largest size), and I'd rather use the insertion zipper to my center, for a looser fit. (it would create a zipper up the center vs. an off-to-the-side zip; I wouldn't have to pull the jacket as tightly to zip it.) On the All Saints Web site, under the description of the men's Caldonian jacket, it even says: "The addition of a second zip provides the option of an alternative front fastening for different styling." However, the insertion zipper that is farthest to my side (making the tight fit) is the only insertion zipper that has an insertion pin. The one closest to my center (for the looser fit) is missing the insertion pin. Indeed, when I "rollover zoomed" this jacket and the Heston jacket (similar) on the Web site, I saw that the insertion pin is missing on the "center zip" insertion zipper. I called the SF store, and they said that it's supposed to be this way (not a defect). How, then, are people expected to use this other zipper?

I e-mailed main customer service about this: No reply. Do you think I could take this to a tailor to have an insertion pin put on the other zipper? I plan to wear this jacket open most of the time, but I'd like to close it on a cold day. It's a lambskin jacket, so it will probably stretch, anyway, but I would love to use that center zipper. Opinions? Suggestions? Thank you!
