How do you come up with this stuff? We should call you the "Oracle of Delphi" of "Mount Pernasus."

As to my friend pejsek. One day I expect him to find a complete and unworn wardrobe of the Duke of Windsor in an SF thrift shop.

PS: Matt, my friend, you are no Duke of Windsor. But why not give your stuff directly to pejsek and not Goodwill. pejsek is going to get it anyway

Maybe RJ is "The One" or "The Messiah" and not you know who!

Was William F Buckley Jr. frozen like the apocryphal story about Walt Disney, and now Buckley has come back as you?

If I'm a thawed Buckley, then someone set the defrost on the microwave a bit too long.

Long time ago, went looking for Lattanzi's website and found that it was affiliated with Zintala. Besides, I think it was mentioned on teh foraz.

He is the Duke of Wilkesbashford.

Matt, I think I might own your grandfather's old bespoke Henry Maxwell shoes. He and I seem to have almost identical feet.

Delphi is not near Parnassus, I don't think. Matt is closer to Parnassus than I am. And the Oracle was high on something.

Wrong. Look at my avatar and you will see The One. There can be no other. OBEY feline.

Did the Lobb Barros come from you as well? I didn't notice any green streaking, but I haven't had a good look in bright light. They do fit me very well.

Someday I will find a way to thank iammatt for his charitable profligacy.

No, rnoldh, the Doppelganger is not iammatt. I know his name. He's a dedicated Henry Poole customer who unfortunately keeps growing around the waist--so much so that we are no longer doppelgangers.

Jeez, RJman, I certainly hope you're kidding about Matt's grandfather? I saw those shoes at the Fillmore St Goodwill years ago. There was quite a collection and they were all very beautiful. At the time I hadn't yet caught the full curatorial bug. Beautiful and rare though they were I left them at the store because they were not my size.

But back to the original question. Why two lines? The Lattanzi name is so well known and revered. I'll bet he's even in the Robb Report! But how many even here have heard of Zintala?

Or Pridenotion, or Verel de Belval, or Istithmar, or Dickson Poon, or whatever other holding companies/affiliates/owners of luxury goods/shops are out there? This foraz is about the object, not the business...

EDIT: heh heh, Dickson Poon...

I have a solution for you:

If a more collectible version is essential to you, here is the Japanese version featuring some guy getting stomped in the nuts:

You're right. I would find the Japanese version infinitely preferable. Can you get them from a vending machine, perhaps?
I'm afraid, however, that it would take more than a few packs of Doritos. A feed bag would be more like it.

Silly pejsek...you don't EAT the Doritos. You stuff the unopened bags under that guy's Poole jackets.

Sure, you make crackling and crunching noises when you move, and you really can't unbutton your jacket, but since you are in the Bay Area, the noises that you make won't seem out of place.

No thanks. I'd prefer to stay in the ballpark for the occasional Matuozzo shirt. Not much room for error.
