Zintala v. Lattanzi--What's The Distinction?

I found a pair of very nice chocolate brown loafers at Goodwill yesterday. The leather is of the highest quality and the construction is very subtle and very precise. Printed in silver on the sock liner are SL and then Zintala. From past discussion (as well as a whole host of other reasons) I'm pretty sure that these shoes were indeed made by Lattanzi. I'm curious, though, as to why Lattanzi would make shoes under these two different marks. There's nothing fancy about the details on these Zintala shoes--no florid Italian script, two-tone soles, or fancy decorative nailwork. So what is the point of the two lines? And does Lattanzi still make Zintala-branded shoes?

Zintala = Lattanzi's corporate name (near anagram of Lattanzi).

Same pejsek walked into his closet one day and found bespoke shoes in exotic leather.

He's just something else.

I think those were mine. Check them in the sunlight, I bet they have weird green streaking. Yes, Zintala=Lattanzi.

My God, he's right.

RJ, do you just know this stuff or use the old google like
here!

As to my friend pejsek. One day I expect him to find a complete and unworn wardrobe of the Duke of Windsor in an SF thrift shop.

PS: Matt, my friend, you are no Duke of Windsor. But why not give your stuff directly to pejsek and not Goodwill. pejsek is going to get it anyway

I will only say that this is not the first time I have seen something I used to own in his thrifting posts.

Some day, pejsek will find an Asian-American man, on the shorter side, with a largish head and glasses with thick frames in the thrift store.
