I saw some polo shirts in this line, and they seem really nicely made and the price is right. They look very casual elegant and I was thinking about picking up a couple to pair with some super 100 slacks and Bally loafers. Is anyone familiar with Zegna's Yachting line?

Yes. They also make the best-looking sailing khaki shorts I've ever found, although if you're not in the Mediterannean, the length of the shorts may be a bit discouraging. I still think the best look is the deeply tanned one, combined with a white lacoste polo (collar turned up), the afore mentioned khaki shorts and a pair of beaten-up loafers, worn sockless. If you like Zegna, look at the Sports line and pick up their sports poncho/rainbeater. It looks really good in grey, the cut is unbelievably stylish for a piece of sportswear.

EF,

Thanks (Blush).

EI:

Haven't tried shorts, must, Swear by the chinos and especially the polo shirts. Pricey- but if you watch you can get them as low as $40...Never pay more than $100, guys. And Bobby Jones (surprisingly) owned by Hickey Freeman makes some excellent fine weave high thread count as well. Great bargains on these at Racks and Off 5ths...Canali, Brioni, same price range if you make friends with your local specialty store.
