Zegna real or fake?

I saw this zegna suit for sale online. Can anyone verify the authenticity? Thank you!

The pics are pretty bad. Close ups of the label might help. I haven’t seen a 3 button model from them for some time. It’s probably an older model.

Also, I have seen a couple of similar logos but instead of the words ermenegildo zegna it just says Zegna with a background Z. Is this the ZZegna line or is this still mainline?

Zegna has always been good. It just looks dated and sort of boring.

Fully canvassed but not very soft construction; quite structured.

On a slightly unrelated point, I was looking at the styleforum suit hierachy list and Zegna mainline was quite low, whilst a lot of other brands, whose suits are made by Zegna, were higher. How is that even possible?

Anyone who implies Zegna mainline is low on some arbitrary hierarchy needs to reevaluate the criteria for such classifications.

Is Zegna the most expensive? No. Do they make an excellent garment? Absolutely.

By the way, I may be in the dark on this but I’m not aware of Zegna making suits for anyone else under a private label.

Don’t trust that list.
Also don’t assume that two suits made in the same factory under different labels are made to the same level of quality.
