Snagged a jacket on Ebay that's some sort of Zegna. It has a black label with a little Z in a circle. Under that it has the whole name in caps ERMABLAHBLAH ZEGNA. Looks different than the Z zegna label from what I've been able to google. Which line is it?

    Here's the link.

    That's older mainline Ermenegildo Zegna.

    Agreed. For reference see:

Older one eh? I think I'm fine with that. Barring a gorge that's lower than most like around here, the styling doesn't seem too dated. I guess we'll see how padded those shoulders are when it arrives haha.

You did OK. Not seeing much of a profit if you want to sell, but you paid market price.

Style is a wee bit dated, but if it fits you well and if you don't need to dump alot of dough into alterations, it was cheap.

I know the composition is 75/25 wool/cashmere. My question is whether you are able to determine from the label whether this is a jacket or a sweater?

Feels too heavy to be a sweater, but perhaps you are correct.

If it's a jacket it'll have an inside pocket tag with all the info.

You are correct. I contacted Zegna and they told me it's an "overshirt."
